Fine Art: Jeanne Hebuterne

My hair is longer than hers :-) or probably of the same length since she's having an extra long neck :-). I love long hair; it gives a feeling of femininity (according to wiki, also called "womanliness" - I like that word). And guys tend to like it too! Well I didn't let my hair grow for those reasons I just mentioned. I'm just really lazy to visit a hairstylist!

Fine Art: Woman in Black Tie, 1917

She looks like a doll... wearing a necktie... boyish but still very pretty. I used to be good in tying a tie but somehow I forgot it. How can you forget something you always do almost everyday for 4 years. That was in highschool when we had to wear uniform with a pink tie (cute). Now I don't know anymore and it's even harder to remember when you've got to do it for someone.

Fine Art: Jeanne Hebuterne a Cloche

The guy seemed to be a big fan of his wife. She looks pretty for sure :-). What I really like about Modigliani's painting is the shape of the subject's face. It adds character to his work. See his other painting of the same woman here... Portrait of a Woman (Jeanne Hébuterne) in Large Hat, c.1918.

Fine Art: Portrait of a Woman (Jeanne Hébuterne) in Large Hat, c.1918

I really like this one. As if there's a glowing fire or lamp in front of her. Can even feel the warmth ;-). Great portrait! Wish to have mine painted like this too, hehe. Yeah k, get the artist!
