Fine Art: Field of Poppies

Having a long winter makes me really miss flowers. Actually I started to like the colors of winter, at least for photography purposes, but I think there's nothing compared to the colors of spring and summer. Love flowers. Let there be flowers soon!

Fine Art: Emilie Floege

Whoah this is beautiful! I haven't seen this so far. I just love her dress; gorgeous! Talked about shopping for clothes on my other post. My taste has definitely changed. Must be the age, hehe. But I like what I like now. I guess I would love shopping more. Just need a bigger closet :-).

Fine Art: Apple Tree I, c.1912

I love to eat apples! Anything fruity would do. I'm used to have fruits as dessert but we ran out since yesterday. Got to fetch some later. I'm missing the taste; that juicy, sweet, refreshing taste after a heavy meal. Love it! It makes everything lighter. Last time, we got really crunchy apples. Hope we could get some good ones again.

Fine Art: Orchard

I told someone that if he's gonna be filthy rich then he can give me a tangerine orchard as a gift :-). Organic tangerines! Hm, actually wondering if Klimt painted a tangerine orchard. They look like tangerines to me. Love tangerines! I always enjoy 1 or 2 after lunch and dinner.

Fine Art: Mountainside in Unterach

Looks like Switzerland or somewhere close to it. Ah, just googled it, this one's Austria. Well, I said somewhere close ;-). They really have beautiful villages and landscapes there. We were driving through Switzerland once and wow was really impressed with the landscape, just couldn't stop taking photos :-).

Fine Art: Expectation, Stoclet Frieze, c.1909 (detail)

What's my expectation of myself this new year? Ahm, to accessorize like this! Hehe, just kidding :-). Well, actually I really expect myself to be healthier. Have to, simple as that and it just sucks to be not well all the time. 2009 will be a good year, hope for everyone too :-).

Fine Art: Portrait of Maeda Primavesi

Just beautiful! Wish I was the girl :-). Well, I can do the same pose too, hehe. When I was small, this is the time of the year when I could have a new dress or a pair of shoes. Just got reminded of that because of the pretty dress she's wearing there :-).

Fine Art: The Apple Tree

I miss Klimt! Haven't found something I like from him anymore, well until today :-). Love this apple tree! I won't have known it's an apple tree if not from the title, hehe. Ah, the abstract art! It's beautiful, I've also decorated my Christmas tree with some red plastic apples. It looks pretty much like this one!

Fine Art: Malcesine sul Garda

I haven't been to this part of Italy but just seen some beautiful photos from a friend who went there for a vacation with the family. Beautiful place, looks very relaxing. It's most famous for its lake, the Garda lake, which is at the foot of the Alps. Beautiful sceneries there, no wonder Klimt got inspired by the place.

Fine Art: Virgin

Klimt's works are always therapeutic to stare. I just love the flow of colors on his paintings (the colorful ones like the one below). I imagine an empty white wall and this one hanging on it, I guess it will own not just the wall but the whole room. Such a gorgeous art!

Fine Art:Farm Garden with Sunflowers

Oh-hah, Klimt again! Did I say I love his art, oh I guess I've to say it again, I really do love his art. I love the tiny, colorful flowers, they give me some tingling summer feelings. Colors attract me to something, glad I'm not colorblind :-). They're also very warming, always need warmth, can't get enough of it.

Fine Art: Water Serpents II, c.1907

Can't resist Klimt's works. I just love the colors! If you see on the right navigation of this page, I categorized the arts of famous artists so it would be easier to navigate in the future. Klimt and Picasso seems to be my current favorites, tie at 5. We'll see how it will progress!

Fine Art: Musique

I just had my load of favorite music, had to play them always in the morning to make me feel awake. Glad it works good for me otherwise I'll always get that feeling of going back to the bed. I'm such a sleepy head, love to sleep, can't get enough of it! I've got to add some more songs to my playlist, need countermeasure!

Fine Art: The Kiss

Ah, who's not familiar with these (both the art and the kiss)? The art is no doubt one of the most beautiful I've ever seen and the kiss one of the most beautiful experiences one can ever have. I think this is not open for any debate :-).

Fine Art: Mother and Child

I guess I miss my mom and include my grandma (may she rest in peace) too. I know I get sentimental sometimes but there are just feelings that I can't suppressed. These feelings have to be there, they must be there otherwise I won't be me, right?

Fine Art: The Tree of Life

Hm, this one made me think of my own tree. I could imagine branches that had sprawled through the years of my existence and glad that it's still doing so :-). But it's not just about existing, right? Well, I did my best to do some learning too.
