Fine Art: Girl Before a Mirror, c.1932

Mirror mirror on the wall who's the prettiest of them all? I love fairytales and I love parodies of fairytales :-). And if there's a favorite of mine, that would be Shrek. It's so funny how they made fun of the magic mirror. Gotta to watch all Shrek movies again. It's been a while.

Fine Art: Paul as Harlequin, c.1924

The boy looks like someone I know (seen Jordan anyone?). Yeah he really looks like the son of a friend. He was here some days ago after not seeing him for a long time. Actually, strange to see him walking already when the last time he was still a baby. How fast time flies really.

Fine Art: Maternity

Really into babies huh. But wow, this is absolutely a lovely piece! And it's quite different from the usual Picassos, it looks very complete. Now, I'm speechless!

Fine Art: Drawing

This looks like my drawing when I was in 1st grade, hehe. Oh yeah, it's Picasso, he could do whatever he likes and still gonna carry that famous name :-). But I really like it, brings back a lot of grade school memories, colorful memories with my crayons! My brother had watercolors but I wasn't allowed to touch them, got to stick with my crayons.

Fine Art: Woman with Book

Is she trying to seduce or read a book? Lol! Just wanna talk about books anyway :-). I learned to love reading books because of my hubby who always reads Terry Pratchett. I only read his books actually. I love his imagination (he came up with a world called Discworld - a flat disc carried on the back of 4 elephants which are on top of a giant turtle). But the best is the humor! I could laugh the whole day (Pratchett is British by the way).

Fine Art: Don Quixote, c.1955

Ahm different from how I imagine Don Quixote should be :-) but it's a Picasso so no complaining there, lol! Anyway, this just really reminds me that I'm still yet to ride a horse, never did so far. But of course in summer, not this time of the year for sure.

Fine Art: Rest

Having a terrible problem with cold and it's just really getting worse because it's also getting colder outside. It was always troublesome to sleep, I'd get cold easily even under 3 blankets. There's always cold air that could creep through. But for the past 2 days I've been having a very good sleep. My hubby had this great idea to have me sleep in his camping sleeping bag, lol! Oh yeah, but it works, bye bye cold air in the night for me, I'm sleeping like a baby.

Fine Art: Petite Fleurs

I miss having fresh flowers, haven't been using my vases for ages :-). I love roses, the smelling good ones (some don't have that sweet smell). I tried drying some roses early this year and they turned out to be perfect for my vintage-inspired tincan vase. Pretty and timeless!

Fine Art: The Dog

I'll love to have a dog someday. I guess it would be a lot of work but I don't want to miss the fun of having one. I was thinking of having a beige or chocolate brown Labrador puppy. Oh, that's gonna be really so cute!

Fine Art: Blue Nude

This is definitely one sexy back :-). I read about how Johnny Depp fell for his current partner Vanessa Paradis, it was her back that attracted him. He knew immediately that she was the one as soon as he saw her back from the other corner of a crowded room. Wow!

Fine Art: The Old Guitarist

To die for music or with music or keeping alive with music. Whichever way, music has played a very important role in humanity. When I was younger, I love to listen to great songs but I didn't really know what exactly I like. Glad now that I know a bit, maybe that comes with the age :-). I'm not that old, by the way, lol!

Fine Art: Mediterranean Landscape

This one reminds me of our wonderful Greek vacation. We had the chance to visit Mykonos Island and what a lovely place... the atmosphere, architecture, people, colors everywhere, food... it was memorable!
