Vintage Art: Father Christmas Trudging Through the Snow

So how are you guys gonna spend the Christmas this year? With us, we'll start with a long drive tomorrow morning. That'll be approximately 3-hour drive going to hubby's hometown. We'll be spending the christmas eve with the family which we missed last year due to some health reasons. Actually, still got to bake some macaroons for bringing along so until here then. I wish everyone a merry merry Christmas!

Vintage Art: The "Christkind" Presides Over a German Christmas

Of course, it's gonna be a German Christmas for us, we're in Germany :-). Will be at my in-laws to be spend Christmas eve, looking forward to that. Still can't decide what to bake and bring there. Coconut macaroons are always nice but got to find a really good recipe for that. Something softer and juicier perhaps.

It's gonna be tomorrow! Counting down will be finally over. I'm kind of sad that it's going to be over but there's always next Christmas for that again :-). I bet everyone's busy except me who's obviously blogging right now. Merry merry Christmas everyone! Love, peace and joy this season!

Vintage Art: An Angel Lights the Candles on the Christmas Tree

How many days left before Christmas? Yep 2 days and I'm very excited! My christmas tree is not really getting along with our semi-tropical (extra warm) pad, it's starting to lose its needles. But I hope we can still keep it till the new year's eve. Merry Christmas everyone, have a good night!

Vintage Art: Christmas Angel Carrying an Armful of Ornamental Foliage

Isn't she cute? I had to dress up like that when I was small. I was cute too (a little said my mother, haha!). And we used to dance and throw flowers, ahm the last one not so sure but the dancing yeah. And we had to sing also! Wow, angels are having an exhausting job :-). Happy 4th advent everyone! Lighted my 4th candle today. We have 3 days before Christmas, yey!

Vintage Art: Three Young Children Play with Their Christmas Presents

Opening presents is always fun. It's a tradition, a tradition of joy and excitement! I'm sure you've got some photographs to prove that (hm, unless you got the wrong present ). I wish everyone this year will continue to pass the tradition, merry Christmas to all!

Vintage Art: Two Children Bring Home a Barrow-Load of Firewood for the Christmas Fire

My first Christmas in this cold country was a white one. I was ecstatic! It was white everywhere, so surreal. I wish we'll have another one next week, yep Christmas is next week already! I know I can't get out in the cold but I can always watch from the window. I think it would be really nice, then hubby and I will watch some dvds, need to catch up :-).

Vintage Art: Young Chef Carries in a Decorated Pudding

Mmmm, yummy pudding. Everyone's probably busy already with baking. I love baking more than I love eating what I bake, crazy eh. Past Christmases, I would just bake no end. Cookies, muffins, cakes are my favorites, something not so complicated. Maybe it's the smell or the atmosphere but whatever the reason, my hubby would love to have it again.

Vintage Art: Merry Christmas, Dogs Pulling Scarf

Oh, we'd be missing Sunny this Christmas. Sunny is the dog of my in-laws and since we can't be with them celebrating Christmas this year, we won't be seing Sunny too :(. Every Christmas, she would also get something as a gift, it's either a toy or a treat. Ah she's never difficult, she would always accept these two.

Vintage Art: Thrown-Off Santa Suit, Merry Christmas from Florida

Ahh, warm Christmas! Santa's on vacation everyone, don't expect your gifts to be delivered on time, hehe. This makes my day plus sunshine outside too, I'm definitely in good mood. Still got some testing to do so I've to tank my energy now. Lunch, lunch, lunch! Ahm, that's gonna be my endless soup :-), but looking forward to it!

Vintage Art: Kitten in Christmas Stocking

I is in your stockingz sorting your mailz! Cute little kitty! I have a stocking hanging here but it's empty, it's just for decoration :-). I remember when we were small, we used to bring socks at my aunt's house so when santa drops there, he'd fill them with sweets. It wasn't a common tradition back then especially in our place so there wasn't like that in our own house :-).

Vintage Art: Best Wishes for Christmas, Girl with Borzoi

I love white Christmas, I just can't stand the cold so I guess I'd be looking out from the window if ever it's going to snow again. I even have a wooden sleigh I got as a gift some Christmases ago, well it's in the cellar left unused, such a pity. Anyway, cold Christmas or not, I just wish everyone a peaceful one.

Vintage Art: Stylised Christmas Tree Flanked by Two Stylish Children

I had mentioned that we already put up our christmas tree and it's a huge one (double my height, well I'm also petite). I love the smell of pine but obviously I cannot be having with it all the time, I'm getting a headache. We'll see, maybe my nose would get used to it. Sometimes, I hate my strong sense of smell. I could smell everything, that of course including the not-so-nice ones :-).

Vintage Art: Happy Christmas, Scotty Dog in Basket

A puppy for Christmas? Oh, look at it, isn't it sooo cute? We've been thinking of gifts already. Hard this year because we won't be meeting everyone. Maybe we'll be sending a nice little package, we'll see. Hope everyone's having fun buying and wrapping their gifts!

Vintage Art: Bathing Beauty Decorating Tree

I decorated mine too, not just in bathing suit though :-), instead in some layers of clothing with a pair of uggs! We bought a quite big tree so had to trim the lower part so it would fit in the corner. Had to cut the tip too since it reached the ceiling. Now it looks really beautiful with a lot of red balls and red plastic apple. It looks like it has fruits! Oh, how I love Christmas!

Vintage Art: Merry Christmas from Florida, Festive Umbrella

I'll be posting Christmas-related vintage posters the coming days. I'm just so excited about Christmas this year! I've been decorating since the first advent and tomorrow we'll be having our Christmas tree. I still have to write some cards to my folks back home, guess I'm a bit late with that already so got to hurry. Wish everyone a happy weekend!
