Decorative Art: Ornamental Carp III

I like this one. Feels like you're underwater. When I dive, I like making bubbles and opening my eyes to see them. Love those moments when you don't hear the usual noise of the world but just some bubbles underneath. Precious! Wish to do that again.

Photography: Hang in There

This is sooo cute. Today, got to let go of my stuff toys. It's time. Mixed feelings of sadness and happiness. I'm sad because they were really a company the past years but it's okay I know that some children will be so happy to have them. They'll go to a day care center and that kind of eased my mind.

Decorative Art: I Think Therefore I Am

I think therefore I am. If one's not able to think, this statement won't even exist so must have been thought by someone who does double thinking, first thought and second thought. Hm, lots of thinking here. Did I confuse you there? Anyway, I love to think. Sometimes I think too much. Could be good and also could be bad. Hard to find a balance but I'm trying.

Photography: Singer and Actress Barbra Streisand

Wow, she still looks very young here but actually aside from some wrinkles, her face didn't really change a lot. One of those lucky ones to age gracefully. I guess most of us wish for that but how? I know the answers and you also know too, just some basics but always hard to do.

Photography: African Elephant Babies with Large Ears

These two are sooo cute! They remind me of Dumbo. There was a baby elephant here in the zoo but it was some years ago so it must have grown up now. They named it Ming Jung, Cologne dialect for "my boy". Hm, it sounds more chinese or korean than german.

Vintage Art: Ombrello Franc

First I thought the umbrella is catching fire but then I realized they're actually little swans. Sooo cute! Probably mom tried to teach them how to swim but then uh-oh not yet ready. Still they look so cute. And that looks like my umbrealla when I was little. Maybe I was passing by then I've seen them and told mommy swan to use my umbie first. She never gave it back though :-).

Photography: The Garden Cat

Lucky kitty to be surrounded by these beautiful flowers and probably under a clear, blue sky. I'm so jealous. I'm desperately waiting for spring. Would love to bring my cam for a walk to the botanical garden. I would also get such lovely blooms there in spring.

Decorative Art: Spring Song

Today is a really a beautiful day. The sun is shining so brightly and the sky looks blue with some friendly clouds :-). I'm not the only one who's happy here. The birds are twitting like crazy too. They must be happy too. Not yet officially spring but but it looks like winter is gonna be over soon. It's about time.

Vintage Art: Berliner Secession Iii

The bear looks cute. I wonder if Berlin got something to do with bears :-). So it would be Bear-lin actually :-). Berlin hosts this award show called Berlinali and they give away golden bear statues. Ah yeah? Just asked hubby about this, yes bear is Berlin's symbol. Haven't been there yet. I'm living on the other side but I'll probably visit soon. I'll see if there are any bears :-). Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Decorative Art: Doris Holds Out For a Biscuit

This one's from one of my favorite artists, Sam Toft. I love her creations because they tell a story. A story that revolves around Ernest, his wife and their dog. Ernest Hemmingway Mustard lives on the Brighton/Hove border with his dear lady wife Violet and Doris, their rather grumpy, portly, Jack Russell. Read more...

Photography: Storks and Kilimanjaro

This is such a beautiful photo; makes my mind travel. I get to see a flock of birds visiting here in the neighborhood but they're always too far to shoot. Shoot means with my cam ;-). I'm a bird-friendly person. It's fascinating to see a bare tree full of chubby burdies resting. Really a pity that the tree is a bit far.

Photography: Kitten Standing in Doorway

The kitten is cute but what really catches my attention is the color of the door :-). Sorry cute kitten :-). Yeah it brings back wonderful memories in Greece. Blue and white are their colors. Colors that give the feeling of being close to the ocean. I absolutely love that feeling!

Decorative Art: One Man and His Dog

Man doesn't look happy; maybe that's why he needs that walk with his dog. A walk can clear your head of whatever's troubling you. Hubby doesn't look happy too. He'll be up for a walk later so that'd be okay. Small things can really ruin your day. Camera body was sent to be fixed; it got returned but problem is still there. I guess a walk is really good :-).

Photography: Girl's Best Friend

This is a very lovely photo! Cute little girl with such a friendly-looking doggie. At this age, one is still innocent, you've got no fear from being with animals. You just like petting them even probably the craziest animal in the zoo. When I was little, I had that imagination of being happy and endlessly play with animals until I was chased by a goat and got stuck at a tree. Then followed by being attacked by a mother duck and hen after an attempt of cutifying the ducklings and chicks. Also got chased by the dog of my aunt from a simple misunderstanding. Ah but I still love animals even if they don't consider me their best friend :-).

Photography: Telling Secrets

It's no secret that I haven't blog for 3 days :-). Strange feeling. I miss it though I'm mainly telling some random thoughts. Or maybe because of that. Thoughts have to be out otherwise they get congested in my brain and give me indigestion problem :-). It's a very complicated system I got here. Anyway, hope everyone has a good Friday so far.

Decorative Art: Show Me The Way To Go Home

That red chap is looking super cute :-) and lost. Yeah probably from all these snow, he got lost. Show me the way to go home too, it's too cold in Germany, haha! Trying hard to keep myself warm. I would be lost when I get cold, too lost actually. Show me the way to spring! My frozen thoughts can't wait.

Decorative Art: Best Friend

I miss Sunny. She was my in-laws dog and she had to be laid to rest last summer. I heard the news when I was vacationing back home. It's sad but I think it's her time to finally take that rest. She was a very nice doggie but won't forget how she attacked that man who was to fix something in the cellar :-). At least she didn't bite.

Photography: Turtle Crossing

Oh yeah, lucky turtle. While we're freezing in middle Europe, there are some lucky creatures that get to enjoy the sun and the crystal clear water right now. Envy? You should :-). It's called summer and since they probably don't have winter at all, the unlucky ones would have to endure it the whole year round. Boring isn't it?

Photography: Nose to Nose, Thailand

This is a very sweet photo. I had watched some documentaries about Thailand's elephants. While you can only see them in zoos here, you can own one there. They're man's bestfriend like a dog is with most of us. Elephants are beautiful and peaceful animals, just really huge! So no elephant's house I guess :-).

Decorative Art: Mini Bugs I

And to add to that beautiful day, here's a happy snail for you having a great one too. I think that's the feeling of being happy. You see everything in colors, you wear a smile on your face, you appreciate every small things around you, you feel like jumping and singing ala Alice in Wonderland... Hm, am I really like that? I think I won't care anymore if I'm in that state.
