Fine Art: The Flowered Canoe

I might get sea sick but I would still enjoy any boat ride. One day, I'll try to ride a canoe. Riding it might have the same effect like riding other floating rides but at least I can say, oh that was a canoe, haha! Lots of passengers in a boat, I kind of grew up with it but going back and experiencing it again after some years without, I feel like a tourist.

Fine Art: The Flower Seller, c.1942

Flowers, flowers! Can't get enough of them. Just got reminded to change the water of my roses :-). I guess they're not going to last long anymore but trying to get the best of them. I don't get to have them everyday :-).

Fine Art: Baile en Tehauntepec

Very festive atmosphere! Hope to be in one soon. I remember when my uncles were coming home for a visit, there was immediately some singing and dancing. There was always a feast no matter how big or small.

Fine Art: El Vendedor de Alcatraces

Another Diego Rivera I like. To preserve the beauty of these flowers, one has to suffer. This gives me really mix feelings of admiration, pity, strength, perfection... it simply speaks a thousand words. Knew the artist from the movie Frida because he was Frida Kahlo's husband. But he was actually more famous than his wife during those times. Two great painters together, wow!

Fine Art: Peasants

I did a lot today, mainly household chores. Didn't have much time with my computer this morning, I kind of miss it a bit :-). Ha, the computer and I, the unseparable duo, lol! But been working a lot last night, did some designs for a demo. I'm beaming with pride because so far I didn't change anything (yet), that only means one thing, contented!
