Having a long winter makes me really miss flowers. Actually I started to like the colors of winter, at least for photography purposes, but I think there's nothing compared to the colors of spring and summer. Love flowers. Let there be flowers soon!

Yep sunshine! It's been very sunny these days. Loves it! And it's also getting warmer. I think in one week it'll be officially Spring. It's about damn time! Gosh got so frozen from this winter. I guess it's time for me to defroze. Will have a lovely afternoon later in the city. Get some fresh air and sunlight. Missing the touch of the ray on my skin :-).

I've been so curious about Botero. Seen some Boteros before but this is my first feature of him. This piece could be the most popular, seen it a lot. I love looking at this one. She looks so comfortable with her body. How many of us actually are? She's very admirable and very bold of the artist.

Wow, this is beautiful! I love the details on that clothing (dunno what it's called) being blown by the wind. Looks stormy but she still looks pretty :-). And talking of storms, we had a strong one hitting several countries in Europe. Glad we were inside the house, these double-glass windows make all the noise stay outside. Today, a great weather is compensating. Love it!

This looks like a Christmas postcard with the 3 Kings in it :-). It's seldom to see a cute Warhol. Or maybe I just haven't seen the rest of his works yet. Whenever I think of Warhol, I think of celebrities and colorful pictures. I passed by a gallery here and they had a Warhol on window display, I was like wow, I didn't know of those beautiful details. It's hard to tell by just looking at prints online :-).

I love the curly hair. I have straight hair but it got permed several times when I was younger. Well, it was trendy :-). Having a curly hair was actually a love and hate thing for me. It was pretty but taking care of it was too much work and the chance that my comb get stuck with it was always high. So no perms. I'm already happy to see Taylor Swift or Nicole Kidman sporting this lovely hairstyle :-).

Yeah of course they're sleeping. They're the god and goddess of night and sleep. This reminds me of the god of wine (the one drinking) and the god of hangover (hm, the one who gets the results). I've been reading a book which makes fun on this mythologies :-). And my favorite is the goddess of stuck drawers. I always have to think of her whenever I deal with my kitchen drawers :-).

Oh how I love picking fruits. I wish to own lots of fruit trees so I'd be having fun harvesting later. No, I'm not talking about Farmville :-). It has to be a real farm with real trees. When I was younger, I would climb to get a ridiculously tiny, yellow guava. So much effort for such thing but I remember how excited and eager I always was to get one.

So this is the full image of yesterday's Minerva. Click on the photo to view the bigger version. I love it; it's beautiful! Minerva's the Roman goddess of wisdom, intelligence, poetry, commerce, music, medicine and a lot more but most famous for the first two :-). It is said that Botticelli painted the female, Minerva, as a strong sentinel that is completely in control of the situation. She is a woman of virtue, entirely competent of shutting down the evil man-beast next to her.

This is a detail of Bottecilli's Minerva and the Centaur which I hope to feature here as soon as I can find it :-). Isn't she beautiful? The beauty to tame a beast. I got so curious about the painting so I did a bit of research. It looks like there's an interesting story about it. So yeah maybe tomorrow.

I love to eat apples! Anything fruity would do. I'm used to have fruits as dessert but we ran out since yesterday. Got to fetch some later. I'm missing the taste; that juicy, sweet, refreshing taste after a heavy meal. Love it! It makes everything lighter. Last time, we got really crunchy apples. Hope we could get some good ones again.

Hm another Olympian gods and goddesses? Not sure but they look like one. I was just talking about Neptune yesterday but well I love mythologies though I still have to read more about them. A teacher in highschool was introducing me to it but due to my lack of interest in reading, I still don't know a lot. Lucky that I can always ask hubby about it.

I love long hair; it gives a feeling of femininity (according to wiki, also called "womanliness" - I like that word). And guys tend to like it too! Well I didn't let my hair grow for those reasons I just mentioned. I'm just really lazy to visit a hairstylist!

Looking at Waterhouse's paintings gives me a feeling of reading a storybook. I wonder if there's really a book with these characters you see below, The Lady of Shalott or The Mermaid. The Soul of the Rose looks like a romance novel. They all tell a story and I'm curious. Hope to feature more Waterhouse in the future.
